• Strong knowledge of substation construction, duct banks, trenching, directional boring, or high-voltage systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Experience managing union and/or multi-trade workforces preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• OSHA certification and other relevant safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for power utility construction projects, including substations, underground/overhead distribution, and electrical infrastructure.

• Coordinate daily jobsite activities including scheduling, material delivery, equipment usage, and workforce planning.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety standards.
• Review project plans, specifications, and permits to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve field issues and maintain project progress.
• Maintain detailed daily reports, track production, and monitor productivity and quality of work.
• Oversee quality control and ensure all installations meet required standards and specifications.
