Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical seeks an experienced electrical construction supervisor to plan, supervise, and direct field personnel on large-scale installations.

You will ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance while aligning with project design, drawings, specifications, and installation requirements. You will collaborate with the Project Management Team on buyouts, labor, and tracking; monitor workmanship quality; mentor field supervision and trades; perform takeoffs and

Qualifications

• Current State Electrical Journeyman License or 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or licensed journeyman experience.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical construction supervision, technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
• Experience with $20M-$100M electrical projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
• Understanding of construction and labor scheduling, cost control, and ability to supervise large groups.
• Ability to perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and related project work.
• Excellent computer, communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.
• Pre-employment background check and MVR check required.

Job description

• Maintain a culture of safety and quality first.
• Have a complete understanding of the project design, drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Work in conjunction with the Project Management Team on material and equipment buyouts, schedules, labor, and tracking.
• Monitors quality of workmanship on the project and ensures compliance with the project and company standards.
• Evaluates, mentors, and trains field supervision and tradesmen.
• Performs takeoffs and pricing for change orders and project related work.
• Evaluates productivity and schedules and makes the adjustments required to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in electrical construction supervision, technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
• Experience working with technical industrial, Pharmaceutical, or Data Center environments.
• Experience with $20M-$100M electrical projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain
• Understanding of construction and labor scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise large groups.
• Ability to perform takeoffs and pricing for changes orders and related project work.
• Excellent computer, communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check.
