Job summary

First Point Group is seeking a Traveling Superintendent for advanced manufacturing projects across the United States. The role requires extensive nationwide travel and leadership of complex construction teams.

This position oversees critical infrastructure systems and coordinates with project managers, engineers, and owners to ensure on-time milestones and high safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large commercial, industrial, or healthcare projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate complex construction activities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations on complex greenfield projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, trades, and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Drive project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
• Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and quality inspections.
• Manage construction activities related to critical infrastructure systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, owners, and design teams.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize project delays.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting, and site communications.

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join a growing team delivering some of the most complex and technically challenging advanced manufacturing and mission critical construction projects across the United States.

This position is ideal for a superintendent who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys travel, and has a proven track record managing large-scale mission critical construction projects from groundbreaking through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations on complex greenfield projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, trades, and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Drive project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget
• Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and quality inspections

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on project sites across the United States
• Strong commitment to safety and quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting commissioning and turnover activities
• OSHA 30 certification
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software
