Role Description

The Superintendent is a full-time, on-site position located in Titusville, FL, responsible for managing daily field operations on residential construction projects. This role oversees job sites from start to finish, including coordinating subcontractors, scheduling inspections, monitoring project progress, and ensuring work complies with plans, codes, and safety standards. The Superintendent conducts daily walk-throughs, tracks materials and deliveries, resolves site issues, and maintains clean, organized, and safe work environments. The role includes regular communication with project managers, trade partners, and clients to provide updates, address concerns, and support timely completion of each project. The Superintendent also documents site activities, maintains logs, and supports quality control through punch lists and final walkthroughs.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing residential construction projects, including field supervision and on-site coordination of subcontractors and trades.


• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, construction methods, and reading blueprints and construction documents.


• Ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, track progress, and maintain accurate site documentation and reports.


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, project managers, inspectors, and trade partners.


• Proven commitment to jobsite safety, including enforcing safety policies and promoting safe work practices.


• Basic proficiency with construction-related software, mobile apps, and standard office tools for scheduling and reporting.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and between job sites.


• Previous Superintendent or lead field role in homebuilding or residential construction preferred.


• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or coursework in construction management or related field is a plus.
