Job summary

Gothic Landscape in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee multiple landscape installation projects from ground breaking to completion.

You will lead field crews, read plans, coordinate materials, manage schedules, monitor budgets, and ensure safety and quality while maintaining strong client relationships.

This role offers the chance to drive profitability through change orders and continuous project performance improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of construction leadership experience.
• Ability to read and understand plans, material lists, guidelines and meet timelines.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience with Irrigation Systems and plant landscape materials.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously by providing technical guidance for field personnel.
• Conduct percent of completion analysis to ensure projects are on budget.
• Provide support for the Operations team by determining production schedules.
• Partner with foremen to ensure materials and labor for project needs are met.
• Build relationships with clients and field personnel through weekly job walks.
• Identify cost effective enhancements and change orders to ensure profitability.
• Communicate with onsite Superintendents to provide updates on project progress.
• Strategize how to improve project performance and exceed goals.
