Traffic Management Solutions in Tampa, FL is seeking a capable Electrical Superintendent to manage FDOT projects from field to office. You will lead foremen, crews, and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient installation of our scope in compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degrees preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Superintendent.
• Experience in electrical and ITS is required.
• Ability to read and interpret roadway and electrical plans.
• Experience in scheduling and leading crews, and quality control.
• Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FDOT construction projects from start to finish between field and office in Tampa.
• Lead foremen, crews, and subcontractors to install scope safely and efficiently.
• Ensure work complies with standards and specifications and coordinates with PM and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with vendors, general contractors, and other employees to complete projects on time.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Superintendent that will be working between the field and office in Tampa, FL. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing work on FDOT construction projects from start to finish. Working directly with our Project Manager and leading our foremen, crews, and subcontractors to ensure that we install our scope of work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards and specifications. The Superintendent will also collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.

Qualifications

• Current Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum High School Graduate, GED or equivalent. Degrees are preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent
• Experience in electrical and ITS is a must
• Experience in scheduling and leading crews, and quality control
• Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and blue beam
• Familiarity with FDOT Standards and Specifications
• Ability to read and interpret Roadway and Electrical plans
• Ability to lead others
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must work well with all other employees, vendors, general contractors etc.
• Computer skills in Microsoft office, Excel, etc.
• Effective planner and well organized
• Punctuality and a winning attitude.
• Bluebeam Revu Software is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
