Job summary

Traffic Management Solutions is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for an on-site role in Tampa, FL. You will oversee FDOT construction projects, lead crews, and ensure safety and adherence to plans and specifications.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of superintendent experience, a valid driver's license, and strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office and Bluebeam is a plus.

Qualifications

• Lead foremen, crews and subcontractors to install scope safely and per specs.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and stakeholders to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Familiarity with FDOT Standards and specifications is preferred.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Superintendent that will be working between the field and office in Tampa, FL. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing work on FDOT construction projects from start to finish. Working directly with our Project Manager and leading our foremen, crews, and subcontractors to ensure that we install our scope of work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards and specifications. The Superintendent will also collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.

Qualifications

• Current Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum High School Graduate, GED or equivalent. Degrees are preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent
• Experience in electrical and ITS is a must
• Experience in scheduling and leading crews, and quality control
• Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and blue beam
• Familiarity with FDOT Standards and Specifications
• Ability to read and interpret Roadway and Electrical plans
• Ability to lead others
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must work well with all other employees, vendors, general contractors etc.
• Computer skills in Microsoft office, Excel, etc.
• Effective planner and well organized
• Punctuality and a winning attitude.
• Bluebeam Revu Software is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
