GH Engage, a well-regarded General Contractor/Construction Manager, seeks a Project Superintendent to own day-to-day field operations on Stamford, CT projects. You will coordinate with the PM, subcontractors, architects and clients across a diverse portfolio including commercial, healthcare, education and multifamily.

Ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction, GC/CM supervision, strong scheduling, reading drawings, and a frontline focus on safety, quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience.
• Experience as Project Superintendent / Superintendent with a GC or Construction Manager.
• Strong experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and construction documents.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach with ownership of a project site.
• Focus on safety, quality and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations from mobilization through completion.
• Coordinate project sequencing, logistics and short-term schedules.
• Direct subcontractors, vendors and multiple trades.
• Read and interpret drawings, specs and construction documents.
• Monitor quality, progress and safety on site.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the project.
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries and site logistics.
• Collaborate with PM on RFIs, change orders and schedule updates.
• Lead site meetings and communicate with stakeholders.

An established and well-regarded General Contractor / Construction Management firm is looking to add an experienced Project Superintendent to its team.

With a strong reputation across the region and a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, healthcare, education, multifamily, senior living, hospitality and institutional construction, the company has a strong pipeline of projects across Connecticut and Westchester County.

As Project Superintendent, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day field operations of assigned projects, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, architects, clients and wider project team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily field operations from mobilization through completion
• Managing project sequencing, logistics and short-term schedules
• Coordinating subcontractors, vendors and multiple trades
• Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and construction documents
• Monitoring quality, progress and safety throughout the project
• Identifying and resolving field issues before they impact the project
• Coordinating inspections, deliveries and site logistics
• Working closely with the PM on RFIs, change orders and schedule updates
• Leading site meetings and maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders
• Ensuring work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications and safety requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of construction experience
• Previous experience as a Project Superintendent / Superintendent with a GC or Construction Manager
• Strong experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades
• A solid understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing and site logistics
• The ability to confidently read drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership of a project site
• A strong focus on safety, quality and schedule
• Experience across commercial, healthcare, education, multifamily, senior living, hospitality or institutional construction would be particularly relevant.
