Job summary

GH Engage, a General Contractor with a strong regional presence, is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on its Connecticut and Westchester County projects. You will own field execution, coordinate subcontractors and trades, read drawings and specs, and work closely with the PM, clients and design teams to maintain safety, quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience.
• Previous experience as a Project Superintendent / Superintendent with a GC or Construction Manager.
• Strong experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Solid understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing and site logistics.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications with confidence.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach with ownership of a project site.
• Focus on safety, quality and schedule.
• Experience across commercial, healthcare, education, multifamily, senior living, hospitality or institutional construction would be relevant.

An established and well-regarded General Contractor / Construction Management firm is looking to add an experienced Project Superintendent to its team.

With a strong reputation across the region and a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, healthcare, education, multifamily, senior living, hospitality and institutional construction, the company has a strong pipeline of projects across Connecticut and Westchester County.

This is an opportunity to join a stable contractor and take genuine ownership of projects from the field.

As Project Superintendent, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day field operations of assigned projects, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, architects, clients and wider project team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily field operations from mobilization through completion
• Managing project sequencing, logistics and short-term schedules
• Coordinating subcontractors, vendors and multiple trades
