Job summary

Engtal, a well-established Connecticut-based general contractor, seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead commercial projects from mobilization through closeout. The role focuses on delivering quality, safety, and schedule adherence on site.

You will supervise field crews, coordinate with project managers and owners, manage subcontractors, and drive performance on projects across commercial, multifamily, healthcare, and government sectors with limited travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Previous experience as a Superintendent with a GC/CM.
• Strong subcontractor coordination and scheduling experience.
• Comfortable managing projects independently in the field.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Connecticut construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Manage day-to-day field operations, subcontractors, scheduling, safety, and quality.
• Work closely with Project Managers and ownership throughout the project.
• Oversee projects across commercial, multifamily, academic, healthcare/lab, and government sectors.
