Job summary

Tarlton Corporation is seeking an on-site Construction Site Supervisor to lead day-to-day activities, uphold safety and quality, and manage schedule execution from mobilization through closeout.

You will coordinate multiple trades, maintain look-ahead plans, enforce safety programs, and ensure timely reporting and site documentation while traveling as project demands require in the St. Louis region.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Construction Management/Engineering or equivalent field experience preferred.
  • OSHA 30 recommended/preferred for supervisory roles; competent-person certifications as applicable; valid driver’s license.

Your Role

Serve as the on-site leader responsible for day‑to‑day construction activities, safety, quality, and schedule execution from mobilization through closeout.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and coordinate daily jobsite operations and sequencing across multiple trades
  • Maintain short‑interval and look‑ahead plans and drive constraint removal
  • Enforce safety programs and ensure inspection readiness and quality outcomes
  • Maintain daily reporting and disciplined jobsite documentation
  • Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and site access to keep production flowing
What You Bring
  • Field leadership experience on commercial/industrial projects
  • Strong understanding of sequencing, quality control, and safety accountability
  • Ability to communicate clearly and build trust with trade partners and teams
Experience
  • 5–10+ years of field supervision with demonstrated ability to lead full projects or major scopes.
  • 2–5+ years partnering with PMs on schedule, cost impacts, changes, procurement, and closeout.
Education & Certifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Construction Management/Engineering or equivalent field experience preferred.
  • OSHA 30 required/preferred for supervisory roles; competent‑person certifications as applicable; valid driver’s license.
Tools & Software

Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office, and scheduling/planning tools.

Work Location, Environment & Travel Requirements
  • Primarily on an active project site and/or jobsite trailer; constant coordination across trades and stakeholders.
  • May require personal protective equipment, exposure to weather and loud environments, and occasional lifting/moving of 25–50 lbs. Shifts or extended hours may be required by project demand.
  • Travel may be required based on project assignment. Projects are primarily within the St. Louis region, with flexibility and readiness to support work outside the local market as Tarlton expands.
