Job summary

oWOW is a San Francisco-based construction and development company accelerating housing abundance through mass-timber and prefab systems. The Senior Superintendent will own on-site execution from groundbreaking through CO, leading field teams and delivering projects on time and within GMP.

You will coordinate with design, development and suppliers, manage cost and schedule, enforce safety and quality, and drive rapid decision-making in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

• Maintain cost control, manage risk proactively, and enforce quality and safety standards across all trades.
• Hire, develop, and manage superintendents, foremen, and crews; set clear expectations and address underperformance quickly.

Expected Salary Range: $150,000 - $220,000 (bonuses or equity in projects would be on top of base salary)

We have 6 upcoming high-rises in 2026 with the next 15 story timber tower breaking ground in San Francisco the first week of May.

The Role

As a Senior Superintendent at oWOW Construction, you will lead the execution of high-rise, ∿300-unit, multifamily projects. You will take ownership of day-to-day field operations on builds that utilize innovative prefabricated systems, including heavy mass timber, 10 ft × 30 ft façade mega-panels, and componentized eccentric braced frame steel frames. These systems allow us to deliver significantly accelerated schedules and reduced costs, currently targeting 30% reductions, with a long-term goal of 65% reductions.

You lead on-site execution from groundbreaking through Certificate of Occupancy (CO), owning outcomes and thriving in fast-paced, high-expectation environments.

You are accountable for execution, coordination, and delivery of successful builds. We are looking for leaders with strong communication skills and adaptability, people who can respond to shifting priorities and provide clear, actionable field feedback that supports oWOW’s broader mission. This is not a role for passive managers.

What You’ll Do

• 1. Deliver Project Results

Deliver projects from groundbreaking through Certificate of Occupancy on schedule, within approved GMP. Own all on-site execution, logistics and trade coordination.

• 2. Own the Schedule

Create and actively manage the baseline schedule. Drive daily planning and look-ahead execution to keep milestones within ±5% of plan.

• 3. Execute Prefabricated Building Systems

Lead field execution of mass-timber, prefabricated lateral steel and factory-built façade systems. Coordinate early and continuously with design, development, and supply-chain partners.

• 4. Control Cost & Quality

Maintain cost control, manage risk proactively, and enforce quality and safety standards across all trades and scopes.

• 5. Lead Field Teams

Hire, develop, and manage superintendents, foremen, and crews. Set clear expectations, hold teams accountable, and address underperformance quickly.
