We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee challenging healthcare construction projects throughout the Sacramento region and Northern California. Lead all field operations from project startup through final completion.
Manage healthcare construction projects while ensuring compliance with HCAI/OSHPD requirements.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.
Enforce quality control and maintain the highest safety standards on every project.
Conduct weekly coordination meetings and proactively resolve field issues.
Collaborate with Project Managers on schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Coordinate inspections and maintain accurate project documentation.
Build strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
Mentor, train, and develop Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, and field personnel.
5 years of Superintendent experience managing commercial construction projects.
Extensive HCAI/OSHPD healthcare construction experience is required.
Proven experience delivering hospitals, medical centers, surgery centers, or other healthcare facilities.
Strong understanding of HCAI/OSHPD standards, inspections, sequencing, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors while maintaining schedule and quality.
Experience mentoring and developing field staff and future leaders.
Willingness to travel throughout Northern California as project needs require.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with both ground-up and renovation healthcare projects.
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
OSHA 30 certification.
First Aid/CPR certification.
