Job summary

Daksta is looking for a Senior Superintendent to lead healthcare construction projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of field experience, including over 10 years in managing complex healthcare projects. Responsibilities include overseeing project safety, schedules, and subcontractor coordination.

Qualifications

Overview

An industry leading construction organization is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to join a growing Healthcare Construction team focused on delivering complex, high impact healthcare projects across the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven field leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and has extensive experience managing large-scale healthcare construction projects, including acute care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for assigned healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage project safety, scheduling, logistics, quality control, subcontractor coordination and field execution
• Supervise and mentor Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents and field teams
• Partner closely with Project Management teams to maintain budgets, schedules, procurement and project documentation
• Drive Lean construction practices and continuous improvement initiatives
• Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Ensure OSHA compliance and champion a strong culture of safety across all job sites

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction field experience
• 10+ years managing complex healthcare construction projects
• Strong experience with acute care hospital projects preferred
• Ability to lead multiple field teams on large scale projects
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Procore or equivalent construction software
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Experience with Lean construction methodologies is a plus
