Keller is looking for an experienced Superintendent based out of our MidAtlantic location.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Direct daily field activities and supervise field crews and subcontractors.
  • Review and understand project and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Lead safety meetings and enforce compliance with safety protocols.
  • Track production metrics and provide strategic input for efficiency improvements.
  • Serve as the liaison between field operations and project management.
  • Review project requirements and ensure readiness for crew deployment.
  • Mentor and train field staff, supporting their professional development.
  • Perform daily job site inspections (as required).
  • Deliver proper kickoff meeting to crew.
  • Complete daily field log reports (InSite).
  • Alert management of potential project impacts relating to resource management, crew make‑up/size, and schedule restraints.
  • Oversee all manpower for field activities and monitor crew sizes.
  • Assist in equipment rentals as needed, and keep project team informed of purchase order updates.
  • Ensure equipment is operating safely and is properly maintained; verify inspections are completed as required.
  • Confirm work complies with contract requirements, project plans, and specifications.
  • Attend job site meetings (as needed).
  • Assist the project team during mob/demob process by scheduling trucking and managing applicable documentation, and checking on equipment rentals and key items needed for success.
Risk Management
  • Fully understand and comply with Keller risk management policies and procedures.
  • Recognize major risks and take appropriate measures to reduce risk to the company.
Change Management
  • Collaborate with Project Manager to track and log any changes to the project; identify changes that need to be escalated.
  • Ensure necessary documentation is collected to determine impact of potential contract changes, disputes, and claims.
Financial Management
  • Analyze targets and goals based on actual production work to determine if schedule or crew adjustments are needed.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager on procurement and delivery timelines.
  • Track production quantities and any potential change order work.
Safety and Quality Assurance
  • Ensure crews and subcontractor personnel comply with all Keller, OSHA, and client or owner‑specified safety requirements.
  • In the event of a safety incident, work in partnership with HSEQ to support employees and project management teams per Keller policy.
  • Collaborate with the project team in logging all quality nonconformance issues and work with management for resolution.
  • Complete management interactions and quality inspections as required; collaborate with Project Manager to review and understand onsite expenses.
  • Exercise stop‑work authority for safety and quality issues.
  • Conduct safety meetings with crews and discuss daily job hazard analysis.
Additional Duties
  • The responsibilities listed above are minimum expectations for the role. Additional tasks, duties, or responsibilities may be assigned at any time as needed to support branch and company objectives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience supervising construction crews on civil and/or geotechnical construction projects.
  • Experience with various drilling techniques and ground improvement methods.
  • Required Training/Certifications: New Hire Orientation and Induction; OSHA 30‑Hour; First Aid/CPR Certification; Qualified Rigging Certification; Fall Protection – Competent Person; LOTO – Competent Person.
  • Preferred Training/Certifications: Leadership Development and Coaching Training; NCCCO certified.
  • Good computer skills using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Excellent time‑management, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interface with clients and build relationships.
  • Must be willing to travel frequently and for extended periods of time.
Salary Range

$100,000.00 - $135,000.00. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law.
