Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up multifamily projects across California. You will coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and site logistics while driving schedules and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time completion.

The role partners with the Project Manager to keep projects moving efficiently, conducts subcontractor meetings, and maintains daily site reports through closeout. Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential.

Job description

We're partnering with a well-established California general contractor that's continuing to grow its multifamily division and is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to the team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys running the field, keeping projects on schedule, and working closely with subcontractors from groundbreaking through closeout. The company has a strong pipeline of work throughout California, offering long-term stability and future growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead day-to-day field operations on ground-up multifamily projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, material deliveries, and site logistics
• Drive project schedules and maintain 3-week look-ahead planning
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and proactively resolve field issues
• Partner closely with the Project Manager to keep projects moving efficiently
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and coordinate trade sequencing
• Maintain daily reports, site documentation, and support project closeout

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a general contractor
• Ground-up multifamily construction experience
• Experience with wood-frame, podium, wrap, or mixed-use residential projects preferred
• Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor management
• Knowledge of safety, inspections, QA/QC, and field coordination
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
