The Boring Company in Nashville seeks a Tunnel Superintendent to lead day-to-day tunneling operations on a hard rock TBM project. You will drive production, maintain safety, and coordinate crews across shifts to keep the machine advancing.
This role requires 5+ years in tunneling or heavy civil work, with at least 2 years in supervision; strong TBM and field leadership, and a proactive approach to safety and reliability.
The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.
We’re looking for a Tunnel Superintendent to lead day-to-day tunneling operations on a hard rock Main Beam TBM project. This role requires deep field experience and the ability to drive production while maintaining safety, equipment uptime, and crew coordination across all shifts. You’ll be accountable for keeping the machine advancing, troubleshooting operational issues, and executing shift plans to meet project targets.
