Job summary

Holder Construction seeks a Superintendent for our Mooresville project in Indiana. This full-time, in-person role leads on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule alignment with contract requirements.

You will oversee field teams, coordinate with office staff, and drive project momentum while upholding Holder’s standards and culture of integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of commercial construction supervision experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through close-out, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and Holder’s standards.
• Enforce project safety, quality, and schedule objectives.
• Oversee on-site workforces, coordinate daily scope and inspect installed work.
• Assign team responsibilities and communicate with office and field teams to support goals and manage risk.
• Organize site logistics and day-to-day activities to optimize workflow and sequencing.
• Read and interpret design documents and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
• Mentor and develop team members and uphold Holder’s culture of integrity and collaboration.
• Identify and resolve issues to maintain project momentum and deliver results.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field

About the Role

We are looking for a Superintendent to join our Operations team on our project in Mooresville, IN.This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through close-out, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and Holder’s standards.


• Execute and enforce project safety, quality, and schedule objectives, exemplifying Holder’s commitment to a zero-accident culture.


• Provide oversight of all on-site workforces, including daily scope coordination and inspection of installed work.


• Assign team responsibilities and maintain clear communication with office and field teams to support project goals and manage risk.


• Organize project site logistics and coordinate day-to-day on-site activities to optimize workflow, productivity, and sequencing.


• Read and interpret construction design documents and specifications to ensure accurate execution.


• Mentor and develop team members, promoting Holder’s culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning.


• Proactively identify and resolve issues to maintain project momentum and deliver successful results.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5–10 years of commercial construction experience in a supervisory or field leadership role.


• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.


• Familiarity with scheduling tools, QA/QC processes, and risk management strategies.


• Ability to relocate to projects as needed.
