Job summary

Engtal is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead major projects with leading Massachusetts general contractors across Greater Boston and surrounding regions. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure on-time delivery of complex renovations and ground-up developments.

Candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, scheduling, and on-site management skills, with experience across healthcare, life sciences, higher education, or commercial sectors.

Qualifications

Proven Superintendent experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager
Experience delivering ground-up and/or complex renovation projects
Strong subcontractor management and scheduling experience
Excellent field leadership and communication skills
Experience within healthcare, life sciences, multifamily, higher education, commercial, public, institutional, or similar construction
Ability to independently manage day-to-day jobsite operation.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day field operations from mobilization through closeout
Lead subcontractors and coordinate all onsite construction activities
Maintain project schedules and drive milestones
Partner closely with Project Managers and project leadership
Oversee site safety, quality control, and logistics
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving
Take ownership of successful project delivery

Superintendent | Lead Major Projects with Leading Massachusetts General Contractors

Several of Massachusetts’ leading general contractors are looking to add experienced Superintendents to support growing project backlogs throughout Greater Boston, the North Shore, South Shore, Cape, and MetroWest.
