The role requires a minimum of 5 years' GC experience, strong scheduling and communication skills, and OSHA 30 certification. The work is onsite with a focus on field leadership and collaboration.
This role is for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead K-12 ground-up and renovation projects in the metro Detroit and Ann Arbor areas. You will oversee the onsite construction process from start to finish, ensuring all activities align with the established design, budget, schedule, and quality standards. The position focuses on planning, scheduling, organizing, directing, and controlling daily activities on active construction sites for industrial, K-12, and commercial projects.
This is a salaried, onsite role based primarily at project locations in Ann Arbor, MI or at Detroit public school facilities. You will spend nearly all of your time in the field, working from the jobsite trailer or on active construction sites rather than in an office environment. Core working hours are typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the expectation of flexibility as project needs require. The team operates in a small, fast-paced environment that emphasizes collaboration, communication, and high performance. The company provides a cell phone for business use, and the current contractor receives a monthly car allowance built into their salary structure. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LIVONIA, MI.
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
