The Concrete Superintendent acts as the main point of contact with General Contractors and Construction Managers while managing all aspects of concrete operations, including manpower planning, material coordination, equipment utilization, quality control, project documentation, and concrete placement activities from layout through completion.

This role supports concrete construction projects throughout Southeast Michigan and involves working primarily in the field on active construction sites. Typical work hours are approximately 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM (12‑hour days), Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required based on project needs. The Concrete Superintendent typically reports to the shop daily, picks up a company truck, and then travels to the job site. Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and involves exposure to typical construction site environments, including noise, dust, and heavy equipment. The position follows a union‑based work structure and may experience slower hours for 2–3 months during the winter season, during which unemployment benefits may be available if not working. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Livonia, MI.
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $62.00/hr.
