Phillips Infrastructure in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee on-site management of construction projects. The role includes supervising construction efforts, ensuring adherence to design and budget, and managing onsite functions.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of four years in Heavy Civil Earthwork construction management, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be ready to travel as needed. Safety compliance and supervision are critical aspects of the position.
Provide overall on-site management on construction project site.
Manage 1 to 5 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 1 to 7 employees in the field operations.
Overall knowledge and experience in site work construction such as earthmoving, dewatering, underground utility construction, road, and parking lot construction & surveying. Willingness to travel out of town or state.
Minimum of four years Heavy Civil Earthwork construction management and/or craft supervision experience. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); craft agreements, jurisdiction, cost control schedules and safety required. Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills essential.
