Framework - Construction Recruiting seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on a structural remediation project in the Durham, NC area. The role is field-based, with travel preferred for future assignments in the Southeast, and involves coordinating trade contractors, safety oversight, and extensive documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Superintendent with a general contractor, handles projects around $3 million+, and is proficient with Procore and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor.
• Experience managing projects valued at $3 million or more.
• Prior experience with structural remediation or foundation replacement scopes strongly preferred.
• Construction document literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, comfortable managing multiple subcontractors and trades.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certified.
• Knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Traveling candidates strongly preferred, as future assignments may be located elsewhere in the Southeast.
• A valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day coordination of trade contractors, ensuring work meets the approved schedule and quality standards.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents to plan ahead and anticipate potential issues.
• Verify subcontractors obtain all necessary permits.
• Act as the primary safety representative in the field and enforce quality control policies.
• Lead regular contractor meetings and maintain daily reports and documentation in Procore.
• Communicate schedule status, updates, and changes to the project team and trade contractors.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage jobsite logistics.
• Resolve jurisdictional disputes and coordinate with local building officials as needed.

We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on a structural remediation project in the Durham, NC area. The scope includes foundation replacement, concrete and masonry repair, fireproofing, and site landscaping. This role is based in the field, away from the company's home office, but the team makes a point of flying employees in for company events and is known for genuinely taking care of its people. Traveling candidates are strongly preferred: the next assignment after this one could be in the same location or elsewhere in the Southeast.
