Job summary

Eastern Companies is seeking a seasoned construction supervisor to lead Assistant Superintendents and craft teams on complex facility projects. You will plan methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules, ensuring work aligns with drawings and specs.

You will coordinate with multiple departments, mentor junior staff, and uphold safety programs. A four-year engineering degree and extensive supervisory experience are required to excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Four year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience.
• Minimum of eight years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools and work procedures.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and ability to control and supervise large groups essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise Assistant Superintendents and/or craft activities and schedules.
• Coordinate assigned work with different crafts, departments, or other contractors.
• Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to meet drawings, specifications, and schedule.
• Assist in resolving construction problems (productivity, interfaces, etc.).
• Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Maintain liaison with other departments (Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, Engineering) to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule.
• Supervise and mentor assistant superintendents.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
