Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Project Superintendent for a Dallas, TX-based DFW project. You will own field operations, drive the project schedule, and coordinate subcontractors and drawings to meet safety, quality, and budget goals.

You will establish budgets, monitor variances, identify risks, and enforce quality standards with vendors, while adhering to OSHA requirements and maintaining site cleanliness and daily time/ logs for your team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 6+ years of experience required.
• Relocation may be required.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of field operations.
• Create and manage project schedule.
• Coordinate subcontracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Establish budgets and control costs.
• Identify causes of cost variances and mitigate them.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation.

• Prepare daily time cards and logs for supervised personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall management of field operations
• Create and manage project schedule
• Coordination of subcontracts, drawings, and specifications
• Establishing budgets and controlling cost
• Identify the causes of cost variances and eliminate negative variances
• Identify project risk, and work to mitigate it
• Communicate quality standards to each subcontractor and vendor
• Conduct systematic quality control inspections
• Follows company safety program, laws, and OSHA operating standards
• Manages jobsite cleanliness
• Prepares daily time cards for personnel under supervision
• Prepares daily logs

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma
• 6+ years of experience
• Basic computer skills are preferred
• Specific roles may require relocation
