Job description

• As a construction superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, while also managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and maintaining effective communication with project manager, subcontractors, laborers, vendors, inspectors, and clients.
• We are looking for someone who has a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of successfully leading and coordinating construction projects, delivering on schedule and within the allocated budget.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, including coordinating subcontractors, scheduling work, and overseeing progress.
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct overall daily site assessments and inspections to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers to address project requirements and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring that they meet project requirements and deliverables.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role overseeing on-site construction activities.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, practices, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and inspectors at all levels.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Education and Experience

• Construction Management or equivalent combination of technical training and/or extensive experience in construction management required.
• Minimum three (3) years of related construction experience in onsite construction supervision management preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to thoroughly understand drawings and specification, materials, means and methods.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clear record.
