Job summary

The Walsh Group seeks a Project Superintendent for our project team in the United States. You will take ownership of field operations, drive safety, quality and on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will lead scheduling, coordination of subs, drawings and specs, and manage costs with a focus on value and risk mitigation. Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 6+ years of construction project experience.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of field operations.
• Create and manage project schedule.
• Coordination of subcontracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Establishing budgets and controlling cost.
• Identify causes of cost variances and mitigate them.
• Identify project risk and mitigate it.
• Communicate quality standards to subcontractors and vendors.
• Conduct quality control inspections.
• Follow safety program and OSHA standards.
• Manage jobsite cleanliness and time cards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall management of field operations
• Create and manage project schedule
• Coordination of subcontracts, drawings, and specifications
• Establishing budgets and controlling cost
• Identify the causes of cost variances and eliminate negative variances
• Identify project risk, and work to mitigate it
• Communicate quality standards to each subcontractor and vendor
• Conduct systematic quality control inspections
• Follows company safety program, laws, and OSHA operating standards
• Manages jobsite cleanliness
• Prepares daily time cards for personnel under supervision
• Prepares daily logs

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma
• 6+ years of experience
• Basic computer skills are preferred
• Specific roles may require relocation
