Responsibilities

Site Superintendent | Luxury Residential Construction

I’m working with a highly regarded luxury residential contractor in the Boston market who is looking to appoint an experienced Site Superintendent to join their team.

The business specializes in the delivery of high end custom homes, major renovations and complex residential projects across Boston and the surrounding areas. They have built an excellent reputation for quality, craftsmanship and delivering genuinely standout homes for private clients.

They are looking for a Superintendent who can take real ownership of projects on site, working closely with Project Managers, architects, designers, subcontractors and clients from the early stages of construction through to final handover.

The Role

• Take day to day responsibility for construction activity on site
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades and suppliers
• Maintain project schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved
• Oversee quality control and ensure exceptionally high standards of workmanship
• Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate with the wider project team
• Manage site safety and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Review drawings, specifications and construction documentation
• Identify potential issues early and work with the project team to resolve them
• Manage punch lists, inspections and project closeout
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects and design teams throughout the build

What They’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Superintendent within residential construction
• Strong experience delivering custom homes, luxury residential or high end renovation projects
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing and site operations
• Strong subcontractor and trade management experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and a genuine focus on build quality
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience working within the Greater Boston construction market would be highly beneficial
