Job summary

Dvorak, LLC is hiring a Superintendent to lead on-site field execution for heavy electrical construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will manage safety, quality, manpower planning, production, scheduling, and cost awareness while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to Dvorak’s standards of excellence.

The role requires a minimum of five years in construction or electrical contracting, Maryland Journeyman Electrician license, OSHA 10, and the ability to read construction

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction or electrical contracting.
• Valid MD Journeyman Electrician license.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution by aligning manpower, schedule, materials, and leadership with the project plan.
• Mentor foremen and field crews across projects.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, productivity, and quality against specifications and contract documents.
• Coordinate field activities with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other trades.
• Monitor manpower utilization, labor productivity, and material planning to control costs.
• Champion Dvorak’s safety culture and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain communication with Project Managers and Field Operations leadership on status and challenges.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Superintendent provides on-site leadership and operational oversight for assigned projects. This role is responsible for managing field execution including safety, quality, manpower planning, production, scheduling, cost awareness, and customer satisfaction.The Superintendent serves as the primary field leader, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in alignment with Dvorak’s standards of excellence. This individual coaches and develops field teams while maintaining strong communication with project management and executive leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Lead field execution of assigned projects by aligning manpower, schedule, materials, and field leadership with the project plan
• Provide direction and mentorship to foremen and field crews across assigned projects
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, productivity, and quality against specifications and contract documents
• Coordinate field activities with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other trades
• Monitor manpower utilization, labor productivity, and material planning to control costs
• Champion Dvorak’s safety culture, ensuring all field personnel follow company policy and OSHA regulations
• Maintain consistent communication with Project Managers and Field Operations leadership on status, manpower needs, and jobsite challenges

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in construction or electrical contracting
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop field teams while maintaining accountability
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, manpower planning, and jobsite coordination
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Strong communication with the ability to coordinate across internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
• Experience resolving field challenges and jobsite conflicts in a calm, professional, solutions-oriented manner

Requirements & License/Certification

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
• Maryland Journeyman Electrician license (required)
• OSHA 10 (required)
• First Aid/CPR (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year (based upon experience) + bonus opportunity

Work Location: In person, field-based; may involve exposure to weather, heights, confined spaces, and loud noise. PPE required on all job sites.
