Job summary

DPR Construction in Atlanta is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead field teams, align with project goals, and ensure safety, schedule, and quality on complex construction projects.

You will coordinate with project managers, self-perform crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to drive efficiency, explore prefabrication strategies, and maintain client relationships while maintaining a safe, high-performing jobsite.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required within 6 months of hire; First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of field individuals to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development.
• Oversees all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and organizational standards.
• Manages coordination with project managers, self-perform team, subcontractors, and suppliers to schedule resources, resolve moderately complex issues, manage field related costs and change impacts, and maintain project momentum.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Reviews and approves daily field documentation, including progress reports, safety logs planning documentation (i.e. pre-task-plans), and incident records, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Reviews and communicates project status, risks, and opportunities to project leadership and relevant stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns to support project success.
