Job Title: Super Summer Bible Camp, Camp Counselor

Job Summary:

The Super Summer Bible Camp, Camp Counselor role involves teaching children while supervising them, ensuring a safe, fun, and interactive environment.

Job Description and Expectations:

1. Interact daily with children to create a friendly, positive, safe, and engaging environment that models Christ.

2. Greet campers warmly, inquire about their well-being, and encourage participation.

3. Be physically active as part of daily activities.

4. Participate in craft activities and Bible instruction.

5. Handle emergency or uncomfortable situations involving children appropriately.

6. Assist in cleaning facilities and classrooms as needed.

7. Coordinate closely with the super summer director, assistant director, and office staff.

8. Respond promptly and professionally to all communications (texts, emails, calls).

9. Support overall daily functions of the camp.

10. Maintain a professional attitude, support colleagues, and uphold the values of North Phoenix Baptist Church.

11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications include being outgoing, a practicing Christian attending church regularly, experienced in working with children, physically active, flexible with working hours, able to work various shifts including opening and closing, able to pass a drug test, and able to prove citizenship.
