Job summary

Harris Health in Houston, TX is seeking a CT Technologist to provide patient care and operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging.

The role mentors and takes charge in the absence of the supervisor, and requires five years of CT experience, a JRCERT-accredited program, and a Texas license. You will work with PACS and RIS, ensure patient safety, and contribute to an efficient radiology service.

Qualifications

Job Summary

To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of a computed tomography (CT) scanner for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Mentors and takes charge in the absence of the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program
• Work Experience: Five (5) as a staff CT Technologist
• Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Correspondence, Writing /Reports
• Proficiencies: P.C.

Licenses & Certifications

• Cert Medical Radiologic Tech by the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
• Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program
• Cert Computed Tomography Tech by the ARRT
