JOB SUMMARY

Performs special radiographic procedures by the application of ionizing radiation or other diagnostic methods.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 1. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: H.S. Diploma or GED; AART Certification: Texas State License
• 2. Work Experience: 2 years Radiologic Technologist Special Studies; 1 year Radiologic Technologist
• 3. Equipment Operated: All ionizing radiation equipment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• 1. Communication Skills: Writing/Composing (Correspondence/Reports)
• 2. Other Skills: Analytical, CRT, Medical Terms
• 3. Other Requirements: Certified by State Health Department; Eligible for membership in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists; Knowledge of S.P. Techniques.
