Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Breakfast Attendant for the Hampton Inn Louisville Downtown to provide warm, efficient service in the complimentary breakfast area.

You will greet guests, maintain dining spaces, restock supplies and support beverage and food service while upholding brand standards and safety protocols.

The role requires flexibility to work mornings, weekends and holidays, with competitive hourly pay and benefits offered by the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and pass TIPs as required by the property.
• Food Handlers card as required by city/county/state.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high personal appearance and grooming standards, including uniform and name tag.
• Greet and seat guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure menus are clean and presentable; quality control of areas.
• Clear, clean and reset tables and spaces as directed.
• Keep service areas stocked, organized and neat; complete side work.
• Accommodate guest requests and offer alternatives when needed.
• Communicate with departments regarding VIPs.
• Assist beverage/food service; wash dishes; restock dishes, glassware, utensils, pots/pans; mop and clean.
• Know standards for receiving room service orders and menus.
• Handle cashiering, closing checks and end-of-shift paperwork.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and station rotation duties.
• Answer questions about hotel, brand standards, local area.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Produce quality drinks including coffee, tea, cocktails as required.
