GENERAL FUNCTION

The Assistant Manager II is a key member of the leadership team at Sunglass Hut, working with the Store/Multi Store Manager to oversee daily store functions, including sales, coaching, merchandising, talent acquisition, and retail excellence.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize company tools to meet sales goals, develop staff, and achieve objectives.
• Use reporting tools and business insights to improve performance and capitalize on successes.
• Provide ongoing coaching to support growth and foster an inspiring work environment.
• Recruit talent through networking, recruiting, and interviews in partnership with the Store/Multi Store Manager.
• Engage in self-development as per individual plans.
• Spend significant time on the sales floor.
• Develop customer relationships using company tools.
• Consistently uphold brand standards.
• Maintain store merchandising standards and stay current on product knowledge.
• Implement operational policies and ensure clear communication of brand strategies, promotions, and incentives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience
• Expertise in store operations
• Attention to detail
• Critical thinking skills for operational execution

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Customer service or retail experience
• Leadership experience of 1+ years
