Job summary

The Austin Stone Community Church seeks a Sunday Teams Lead to deliver a high quality, engaging and safe experience for Sunday worshippers, while making disciples through leadership and volunteer opportunities. The STL will equip and mobilize volunteer leaders to carry out the Sunday environment with excellence and report to the Congregation Executive Pastor for development and oversight.

Qualifications

• Administration, planning, organizing ministry programming.
• Clear communication and instructional leadership.
• Ability to collaborate across staff and partners.
• Ability to implement processes that engage and connect people.
• Experience recruiting and developing volunteer leaders.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategies for Sunday Teams aligned with church vision.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming worship environment.
• Recruit, develop, equip, and resource Sunday Teams leaders.
• Create and manage a Sunday staff schedule and training plan.
• Support pastoral care and shepherding of volunteers and attendees.
• Assess ministry effectiveness and report on progress.
• Maintain records and steward ministry budget.
• Occasionally work Sundays and attend required events.
