Job summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking candidates for our Summit Development Program in Texas. This 12–14 month program builds a foundation in logistics, warehousing, inside sales, and cross-department rotation to prepare you for leadership roles.

You will train hands-on in logistics, then rotate through the sales counter, quotes, projects, and CSR experiences, culminating in an inside sales role with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and strong curiosity; work ethic that never quits.
• Self-motivated with potential in distribution, supply chain and sales roles.
• Some background in related fields is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn product range Summit distributes and understand specs.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide product information.
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on leads.
• Gain knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Support sales and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop proficiency with Summit's computer systems and ERP.
• Participate in training sessions and complete modules and assessments.
• Adhere to safety policies and industry standards.
