Job summary

The Summit at Snoqualmie is seeking a friendly Guest Services Ambassador to support base area operations and elevate the guest experience. You will interact with guests in person, provide information, address inquiries and resolve issues across multiple base areas.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, reporting safety and cleanliness issues, and assisting guests with tickets, rentals, and app navigation. Weekend/evening/holiday availability is required, and technology fluency is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior customer service experience required.
  • Strong communication and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable using technology such as computers, apps, and web forms.
  • Fluent in any language other than English is a plus.

Documentation And Reporting
  • Note guest interactions, provide daily feedback, and suggest areas for improvement
  • Report on safety or risk issues via established reporting channels
  • Report base area BSA cleanliness and upkeep issues via established reporting channels

  • Monitor base areas according to cleanliness and upkeep goals derived from BSA standards
  • Monitor, promote and reinforce safety standards as outlined by company best practices
  • Help manage the flow of visitor traffic throughout base areas during busy times

  • Demonstrate flexibility by working at different base areas and locations
  • Provide excellent guestservice and uphold brandstandards with all guest interactions
Serve First
  • Greet and actively support guests by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and guiding them to the correct resources and areas
  • Solve guest issues ina timelyand positive manner to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visitation
  • Work closely, and collaborate with, the rest of the Guest Services team to facilitate and improve guest communications and experiences
  • Offer technical support to guests navigating pick up boxes (PUBs) or online apps and resources (Boyne specific apps and websites)
  • Perform other duties as needed to assist in creating excellent guest experiences
Qualifications
Required
  • Must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Effective conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
  • Ability to effectively provide information about all base areas and resorts products (tickets, passes, rentals, tubing, lessons, parking, etc.)
  • Must be able to work in afast-pacedand sometimes stressful environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to take initiative to solve problems
  • Demonstrates strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Education And Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • Prior customer service experience, either in person or on the phone, is required
  • Strong communication skills and a can do, solution orientated mentality
  • Comfortable using technology, such as computers, mobile apps, and web based forms
  • Fluent in any language other than English is a plus
Wage And Benefit Info

The wage range for this positions is: from $21.50 to $23.00/hr DOE

This is a non-benefited role.

  • All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).
  • All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
