Pharmacy Technician

Location: SUMMERLIN- 89128
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18–$21 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. This role primarily involves assisting patients with prescription pick-up, managing front desk responsibilities, and handling incoming phone calls. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Compounding pharmacy experience is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with prescription pick-up and provide excellent customer service
• Manage front desk operations, including check-in and payment processing
• Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries appropriately
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists regarding prescription status and patient needs
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Keep the front desk and patient areas organized and professional
• Support pharmacy workflow as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician experience preferred; new graduates welcome
• Compounding pharmacy experience is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Knowledge of pharmacy software systems preferred
