Job summary

MediQuest Staffing seeks a Junior Pharmacy Technician in Irvine, CA to support compounding and prescription fulfillment from preparation through packaging and shipment. You will work closely with pharmacists to keep medications moving safely and on time.

New grads are welcome; 1+ year pharmacy tech experience preferred. The role offers weekday hours, $19-$21/hour (DOE), and benefits including paid holidays and paid vacation.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM (No weekends)

Pay: $19-$21/hour (DOE)

Required Skills

• FedEx WorldShip experience (required)
• Ability to prepare, pack, and label prescriptions accurately following pharmacy procedures and safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify prescription information prior to shipment
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, sterile work environment aligned with safety and infection control policies
• Experience working productively in a fast-paced setting while meeting daily deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential patient information appropriately (HIPAA compliance)
• Willingness to wear required scrubs and follow workplace dress code and safety policies

Nice to Have Skills

• Retail and/or compounding pharmacy experience beyond the minimum requirement
• Inventory support experience (packaging and shipping supplies)
• Shipping/receiving experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience (retail and/or compounding preferred)
• 1+ year of customer service experience (preferred)
