Job summary

DUAL North America is seeking an Underwriting Intern in Chicago, IL, for an in-office summer program. You’ll work with experienced underwriters to gain hands-on experience in risk assessment, pricing, and underwriting strategy, contributing to meaningful projects.

Earn $22.00/hour with an internship timeline from June 7, 2027 to August 20, 2026, while building practical skills and a professional network within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Candidate should be pursuing risk management, business administration, or a related field.
• Graduation expected between December 2027 and May 2028 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with underwriters to review insurance submissions and understand fit.
• Learn fundamentals of risk assessment, pricing, and underwriting strategy.
• Help organize underwriting information and keep records accurate.
• Research industry trends and summarize findings for the team.
• Contribute to team projects and day-to-day coordination.
