Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation seeks a Summer 2027 Collegiate Intern in Flight Sciences / Thermofluid Analysis at Savannah, GA. You will engage in thermal modeling, CFD, and data analysis to support aircraft system performance.

You will work under senior engineers, gaining exposure to FAR Part 25 regulations, advanced simulation techniques, and real project experience while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher.
• Completion of sophomore year is required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded) and listed on resume.
• Rotation requirements: Juniors 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students 1 rotation.
• Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).
• Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• This role requires reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Work on thermofluid analysis and numerical simulations to assess environmental conditions across aircraft systems.
• Develop and apply thermal modeling and fluid dynamics techniques to improve design performance.
• Analyze test data to support certification and ensure equipment remains within temperature and ventilation limits.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on real projects and gain hands-on experience.
