JOB SUMMARY:

The '2025 Summer Temporary Assistant, Hockey Marketing' is responsible for observing, learning, and supporting the day-to-day business operations of the Franchise Business Team for the Cleveland Monsters (American Hockey League), Cleveland Charge (NBA G League), and REG (Rock Entertainment Group).

This is a temporary position from June – August 2025, that will require working roughly 40 hours per week.

Local candidates preferred. Relocation assistance is not offered for temporary positions.

PAY RATE: $15.00/HR.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with Franchise Properties leadership team and front office staff on various projects across the Cleveland Monsters and Cleveland Charge franchises, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Community Impact and Engagement.
• Assists Monsters Youth Hockey team and other team leaders to grow the game of Hockey across Northeast Ohio at events such as Summer Street Hockey Tours, On Ice Clinics, and Mini Monsters grow the game initiative (ice skating is not required).
• Will support select Youth Basketball events to help grow the profile of the Charge in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.
• Collaborates with the Sr. Coordinator of Marketing and Fan Activation to plan and activate Monsters and Charge Summer Tour community caravan program at fairs and festivals, in addition to working other offseason programs as assigned.
• Manages and organizes fan mail and other communication requests received with the goal of ensuring effective follow-up communication with the goal of creating a positive impression with Monsters and Charge fans and how they interact with the team(s).
• Helps catalog and organize all promotional, giveaway, membership, and group premium items.
• Collaborates and communicates with Team Members across various Franchise Properties departments and assists with ongoing projects as needed in areas of Community Impact, Communications, Marketing, Ticket Sales, and other initiatives for the Cleveland Monsters and Charge.
• Position will touch and interact with fans, clients, partners, and community members across Northeast Ohio. A fan-first, positive mindset and friendly demeanor is a must at all times as the position represents Rock Entertainment Group and our associated properties.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently attending (or recent graduate of) a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree program, preferably with an emphasis in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Candidates MUST have flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and occasional Holidays.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office platforms).
