Job summary

IMEG Corporation in St. Louis, MO invites you to join our Technology team as a Summer 2027 Technology Design Intern.

Over 10-12 weeks, you will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of low-voltage technology systems in buildings, receiving paid, mentored internship with real project work. You will support project documentation, coordination, and design efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Two years completed toward BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in building design consulting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Developing proficiency in BIM software.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of technology projects per IMEG standards.
• Research commercially available equipment.
• Support client relations and maintain the project design notebook.
• Coordinate design and schedule with multiple disciplines.
• Document design decisions and client instructions.
• Review project documents before final check.
• Assist with addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations.
• Perform other duties as required.
