Job summary

NYSTRS seeks a Team Development & Resources Intern for summer 2027 (June–August) to work with Training and Development and Organizational Development teams. You will help design and implement learning opportunities, coordinate programs, and perform administrative tasks.

This temporary, full-time role offers a hybrid schedule. Requirements include current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program with at least one semester remaining and strong communication, teamwork, and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s or master’s program with at least one semester remaining.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Support facilitation of divisional programming and staff engagement opportunities.
• Develop and deliver inclusive educational programming for NYSTRS staff.
• Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various TDR projects.
• Assist with divisional intranet site upkeep and innovation.
• Provide general administrative support to the TDR team.
