Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Supply Chain Intern in Mundelein, IL for a 10-week on-site program starting May 25, 2027. The internship runs full-time (40 hours/week) and gives you hands-on exposure to demand, supply, inventory, and planning within a manufacturing environment.

You will own a meaningful project with guidance, present findings to facility leadership, and gain experience across purchasing, planning, inventory, and logistics while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business analytics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a closely related field.
• Interest in how purchasing, planning, inventory, and logistics support a manufacturing business.
• Willingness to learn from feedback and collaborate with people in different roles.

Responsibilities

• Learn the products, materials, systems, and processes relevant to your assignment.
• Gather and organize purchasing, inventory, planning, or delivery information and check its accuracy.
• Use spreadsheets or other tools to identify patterns, compare options, and communicate findings.
• Work with purchasing, scheduling, operations, quality, and other teams to understand practical needs.
• Support follow-up on open actions and help keep stakeholders informed of changes or risks.
• Help document processes and evaluate improvements under the guidance of experienced team members.
