Job summary

L.E.K. Consulting is seeking a Summer Consultant for its U.S. offices, including Boston, Chicago, Houston, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. You will join one case team, tackle challenging business problems, and deliver actionable insights during the summer internship.

The program starts with an off-site training week, followed by about 8 weeks of real casework in your home office, with mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• First-year MBA student graduating in 2028 seeking consulting exposure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Breaking down and outlining the client’s key strategic issues.
• Designing and supervising the team’s core research tasks and analyses day-to-day.
• Developing presentations and other deliverable structure.
• Participating in the communication of project conclusions to client senior management.
• Providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to more junior staff.
• Weekly check-in meetings with your case team Manager to discuss your experience and feedback.
• Professional development sessions and a mentoring program.
