Job summary

Charter Communications is offering a paid 11-week Spectrum internship for students majoring in Data Science, CS, or IT. The role runs May 26–August 6, 2027 and includes mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities.

You will work with the payments engineering team, learn SDLC, and shadow the OPS team on production support while building fundamentals in payments technology and AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• Must be a rising senior with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university for a bachelor's degree.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA in current program.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern events during the program.

Responsibilities

• Support payments engineering team by learning payments processing fundamentals and SDLC practices.
• Shadow OPS and participate in production support activities; attend stand-ups and code reviews.
• Engage in training on payment concepts including refunds, chargebacks and returns.
