Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Product Design Intern for a 12-week summer program, onsite in San Francisco or New York City. You will collaborate with product, research, data, and engineering to prototype concepts, test with users, and ship improvements that impact millions of users.

You’ll join a core team aligned with your interests, paired with a dedicated manager, and supported by a learning-focused designer community. Strong portfolio and AI-driven case study experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong design fundamentals showing in portfolio
• Experience with Figma for rapid prototypes
• Ability to integrate AI tooling into design process
• Collaborative mindset to work with product, research, data and eng teams
• User-centered problem solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Drive a real project from early exploration to shipped work reaching millions of users
• Prototype concepts and test with real users, leveraging AI
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, PMs, and researchers to identify opportunities
• Learn from a dedicated manager and a peer community in a fast-paced environment
