GCM Grosvenor is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join its Technology team in Chicago for a 10‑week summer program. The role blends hands‑on project work with modern engineering practices in a real‑world setting, with a hybrid schedule and in‑office attendance Tue–Thu.

You'll collaborate with experienced engineers on product‑oriented teams, design and execute deliverables, participate in Agile ceremonies, and present what you built at the program's end.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, or related field with expected graduation around 2028–2029.
• Comfort with object‑oriented programming (C#, Python, C++, or Java).
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiar with Agile development, cloud technologies, and the software development lifecycle.
• Curiosity about AI and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Join a product‑oriented software engineering team for the summer and collaborate with leaders.
• Design and execute on project deliverables with a clear approach.
• Participate in all team Agile ceremonies.
• Apply hands‑on technology experience to real‑world business problems and build enduring solutions.
